Info: Jon is a prolific glass artist who we are lucky enough to work with regularly. We recently documented his show at the Honolulu Museum of Art’s downtown gallery in the First Hawaiian Bank tower lobby. Featured here is a short video explaining the show and photos highlighting his work in the space.
Info: We connected with Jon in 2017 to generate photos of his work for the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art in association with a show. Photographing glass is particularly challenging due to its reflective properties. We built a studio setup using white panels, backdrops, lights and reflectors to eliminate reflections and let his work shine true. Afterward we sat down to ask Jon a few questions, resulting in a short video and article that ran with Hawaii Business Magazine.
